I finally reached a point of no return. That is, it was too late to return the items I had purchased. It was also not stimulating to enter my craft room because of all the clutter and stuff everywhere.
So over the recent months, little by little, I've been going through and taking an inventory. It's a great feeling to know what you have. I can actually say now when I walk into my craft room, I can see a flat surface or two.
It doesn't happen overnight. It took many years to collect all the items I've accumulated. It's going to take some time to sift through them. NO, thank goodness I am not a candidate for A&E's TV show Hoarders, although I have to say seeing how bad it could get was my impetus for coming clean.
So now that I've spent a great deal of time organizing and "re-organizing" my supplies to make them accessible when I need them, I thought I'd share some tools to help you too. One of the many benefits I'm realizing is I am less likely to purchase multiple (duplicate, unnecessary, redundant) amounts of supplies that I already own.
