The name "Make Mine Chocolate" was the slogan back when Rubie and I foster-cared for 8 rabbits. It was around this time of year that people would think it was a cute idea to give live rabbits as gifts to children or friends. Unfortunately, after a few weeks or so they would come to realize that caring for a bunny is a LOT OF WORK. Ultimately the "unwanted" bunnies would be turned over to the animal shelter or abandoned. We enjoyed learning about rabbits for the two years we were foster family. It was a wonderful experience that we will always remember. To read more about how you can foster a rabbit, check this out.
So remember, when you think of giving someone a cute little rabbit for Easter - make yours Chocolate and they'll melt in your mouth!
